For over 20 years, Lloyd and Mary Cooper have assisted non-profit organizations in increasing revenue and expanding their donor base.
We have had the privilege of serving non-profit organizations in the North Texas area since 1990. We do much more than simply keeping crowds entertained, energized and bidding. We assist you throughout the planning and auction process. Our clients include private and public schools, churches, foundations, clubs and other organizations. No auction is too big or too small. We can conduct auctions for groups as large as 1,000 and as small as 20 to 30. In 2009 we expanded our services to include online auctions and changed our name from Lloyd Cooper Auctioneers to Benefit Bidding.
We are personally committed to helping every client achieve record-breaking results. In addition to our professional credentials, we are active volunteers for various community and national organizations. We have been in your shoes!! In addition to our experience as professional auctioneers, we have volunteered as fund-raisers for our church, our daughter’s schools, booster clubs, and other organizations.
Several years ago we were given the opportunity to create and CHAIR a large gala event - benefiting a national organization - from the ground up: volunteer recruitment, venue selection, marketing campaign development, sponsorship recruitment, donation solicitation, event logistics…the list is long. However, we gained a mountaintop experience from these events. We want to help you climb that mountain too!

Lloyd is the founder and lead auctioneer for Benefit Bidding. After his graduation from Missouri Auction School in 1990, Lloyd served as the primary auctioneer for Lloyd Cooper Auctioneers. He is an active member of the Texas Auctioneers Association (TAA), National Auctioneers Association (NAA), a graduate of the Professional Ringman Institute, a graduate of the NAA Benefit Auctioneer Specialist course and a candidate for the NAA Certified Auctioneer Institute designation. Lloyd previously served on the Board of Directors of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation - Northeast Texas Chapter. He served our country honorably in the U.S. Navy and later attended Washburn University. In his free time, Lloyd is an amateur vintner and owns a private vineyard. He has dabbled as a brewmeister and received a national award for his American Pale Ale. Lloyd enjoys golfing and sporting clays, skeet, and trap. |

Mary is president of Benefit Bidding’s fundraising consulting division. She is passionate about empowering savvy non-profit organizations with creative ways to accomplish their fund-raising mission. Mary is privileged to have volunteered with numerous organizations over the past 30 years. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Business Administration from the University of Kansas. Mary counts her daughter Emily and husband Lloyd as her most precious blessings.
