Benefit Bidding LLC was established by the principals of the Texas auction firm Lloyd Cooper Auctioneers which has provided extensive auction planning and consulting to charitable organizations since 1990.
Meet Lloyd
Lloyd Cooper is the lead auctioneer and technology guru for Benefit Bidding. He served as the primary auctioneer for Lloyd Cooper Auctioneers after graduating from Missouri Auction School in June 1990. Lloyd is a graduate of the Professional Ringman Institute and attended Washburn University. He is a member of the Texas Auctioneers Association, the National Auctioneers Association, and the McKinney, Texas Chamber of Commerce. Lloyd served on the Board of Directors of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation - Northeast Texas Chapter. He was honored to serve his country as an interior communications electrician and gyrocompass technician in the U.S. Navy from 1978 to 1982. He has over 25 years experience as a manager and engineer with a major technology corporation. Lloyd met his wife Mary in high school. They married in 1983 and have one daughter, Emily. In his free time, Lloyd is an amateur vintner and owns a private vineyard. He has also dabbled as a brewmeister and received a national award for his American Pale Ale. Lloyd also enjoys golfing and sporting clays, skeet, and trap.
Meet Mary
Mary Cooper serves as the client service specialist for Benefit Bidding. She is passionate about helping savvy non-profit organizations find creative ways to accomplish their fund-raising mission. Mary is privileged to have volunteered in numerous capacities over the past 25 years and is especially honored to have served the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Business Administration from the University of Kansas. Mary counts her daughter Emily and husband Lloyd as her most precious blessings.
Meet Emily
Emily Cooper, Benefit Bidding administrative assistant and technology guru #2, is a sophomore at Collin College. She was a student of dance and theatre for 14 years and has performed in local plays and musicals. She was a member of area swim teams for several years and, weather permitting, can be found in the pool during her free time. Emily is devoted to her Ragamuffin kitten Sophie and her Shih Tzu, Jewel.
