Sensation French Menu Join Lorie Fangio at Slice of Heaven Cooking School in McKinney for a fantastic day or evening cooking class inspired by recent trips to Paris. We will cook and dine as the French do. This amazing menu will begin with light, delicate Gourges and a toast with a classic Cosmo Martini. Next up Fabulous Tomato Basil Soufflés will rise to incredible heights. The Main Course will be Coq Au Vin served with sensational Browned Butter Mashed Potatoes. The salad comes after the main course and will feature arugula, roasted beets and faro. For sensational sweet finish we will prepare a decadent Chocolate Almond Tart. This hands on experience includes instruction, tasting and recipes. Please feel free to bring wine to enjoy with the class.
Lorie Fangio is a Culinary Professional with a passion for bringing families back around the dinner table. She can be seen regularly sharing her expertise on local morning TV shows. Lorie’s latest endeavor, A Taste of Paris, where she hosts small groups to France for culinary excursions, has proven to be a huge success. She enjoys teaching students of all ages in her McKinney, TX cooking school, A Slice of Heaven. Lorie created a blog called Around the Table, which offers original recipes and advice for busy families. She enjoys working in the corporate world as well and serves as a spokesperson for national brands such as Oil and Vinegar, Walgreens, Ziploc Brand and Zoës Kitchen. She worked with a successful production company to produce a television show pilot focused on food and families and is an e How Food Expert and has over 100 food videos on the web. She works as a private chef for corporate events, parties and enjoys public appearances at local wine events, festivals and speaking engagements.
