Description of Item

This incredibly stunning antique quilt is titled: Hexagon Garden. Done by ladies in a Louisville, KY church it comes from the Richardson and Anderson families of Louisville. Used for many years as a piano cover. It measures 76" x 85" with 4 8" tassles. It is meticulously hand pieced and hand quilted. The hand embroidered is exquisite over stateen type fabric . Made in Louisville Ky around 1857.
