The Quilt's Story: A large, worn quilt with many unrelated redwork blocks was turned into the donations room. Several pillows, throws, etc. were made from the salvaged blocks. I saved 6 for a crazy quilt hanging. The "Gentle Bird" block would date the original blocks to some time after the St. Louis World's Fair.
