Audrey Arno Width: 9" Length: 11.5" Materials/Techniques: All fabrics are cotton, although the light blue may have something else in it These are scraps from a time I can hardly remember so I can't be sure. The block is the Road to Oklahoma and it is quilted in the diagonal chains with clear smoke thread.
Artist Statement: This is a modified and reduced size example of the first bed quilt I ever made about in 1991 or so. The color scheme is the same, although made with different fabric completely. It has a narrow border of print fabric instead of a much wider one, which dropped down the side of the bed in the original. The header is also different due to size limitations. This quilt has Fast Finish Triangles. Auction ends on August 10, 2013 at 10 p.m. (22:00 military time) Central Standard Time. Winners will be notified by email with payment instructions when the auction is over. Payment (Visa or MasterCard) is due by August 15th. Winners pay shipping via Priority Mail, plus insurance and 6% sales tax (MI residents only). Please read descriptions carefully. Note quilt size. All sales are final.
