"Little Quilts, Big Talents 2015

Online Auction

Welcome to our "Little Quilts, Big Talents 2015" online auction! Bidding will begin at 8 am EDT on Tuesday, October 20 and will conclude at 10 pm EDT on Sunday, November 1st.

The Virginia Quilt Museum is the official quilt museum of the Commonwealth of Virginia and its mission is to celebrate and nurture Virginia's quilting heritage.

Your participation in this auction will provide funding to create new Museum programs and interactive exhibits, preserve the antebellum home of the Museum, and develop more collaborative relationships with Virginia’s quilt guilds and businesses.

We live in an interconnected world. We would like to connect with every individual or business that supports quilting. With your support, we will be able to provide others with more educational program offerings, both at the Museum and offsite. Quilting is more than just a hobby craft; it is an artistic expression that can encompass all the joys and pains of everyday life.

We hope you will join us in spreading the joys of quilting to more people by sharing this auction on Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, email, and any other way you wish!!

Thank you for your support and Happy Bidding!!

$20 for 20 Years! -

Since its founding in 1995, the Virginia Quilt Museum has been honored to share with the world quilted textiles and art made by and for Virginians. This year marks our 20th anniversary. To celebrate, we are marking this significant milestone with a special fund raising event. You can celebrate with us by making a donation of $1 for each of our years. Our goal is to receive $20 from 2,015 donors by the end of this year.  This short-term fundraiser will help us meet some extraordinary repair costs to maintain and improve our facility. Whether you are interested in the arts, quilting, history, or museums in general, we hope you will support the Virginia Quilt Museum's $20 for 20 years campaign today!
