3 Panels of Kuba Cloth -

The next item are 3 incredible African Kuba cloth panels. In the Kuba culture, men are responsible for raffia palm cultivation and the weaving of raffia cloth also known as Kuba cloth. It is the men who do the weaving, and the women do the embroidery and applique' work to their textiles. This cloth is hand woven and produced for different purposes among the Kuba peoples.

Pinkalicious for My Greta -

This art quilt is titled: Pinkalicious for My Greta. It is machine pieced and machine quilted and measures 27" x 27". The pattern is a Snowball Flower Block based on a quilt design circa 1940. It was quilted by Gigi - also known as Karen Dever.

Oh Happy Days -

Oh Happy Days is a stunning quilt that features designs of cats, mice, and fish bones. In the middle it features a fish bowl and bluebird with flowers. The mice are hand appliqued and the other designs are hand embroidered and colored inside the embroidery. This quilt is machine pieced and quilted and measures approx. 55" square.

1978 Quilt Stamps -

In 1978 the US Postal Service issued a block of four stamps commemorrating quilting ....... The First Day of Issue events were held at the Cultural Center in Charleston, WV. ... hosted at the Executive Mansion by Sharon Rockefeller, wife of the Governor. This item is 2 sets of 4 stamps. One set is on program and the other set is on an envelope. Both sets are signed by Sharon Rockefeller wife of former Governor of West Virginia, John D Rockefeller the 4th.

This incredible quilt is titled: Winter Flower and was designed and quilted by Judith Larzelere. Judith is a renown quilter who has had her work exhibited world wide. She is known for her use of color and unique abstract structure. This quilt was appraised at $4,560 and it measures 40" x 43" apprx. It has a sleeve and is signed by Judith.
