This floral medallion quilt is machine pieced and quilted by Pam Marbourg. It measures 56" x 72", has applique, buttons and beading. It's floral theme is like a walk through a garden.

The Hummingbird Stitchers Quilt Guild in Sierra Vista, AZ donated this lovely quilt. It is titled: Red Stars Display and is hand pieced and quilted by Hummingbird Quilter Kay Warthan. Made with Kaffe Fassett fabrics it measures 56" x 56". Kay said that she enjoyed this quilt long enough so she and the Hummingbird Quilters generously donated it to the museum for this auction.

From the Love of Quilting, volume 22, issue #129, June 2017, page 62 comes this quilt titled: Concentric Squares. It is donated and quilted by Marianne Fons and is machine pieced and quilted. Measuring 40" x 40", it includes the magazine in which it appeared.

This incredible art quilt is titled: Deep Rising by Marion Coleman a member of the African American Quilt Guild of Oakland. The Oakland guild had an exhibit at the museum in 2017. The quilt is made from Indonesian Batik and domestic and Japanese cottons. It has variegtated threads and is machine pieced and quilted. Measuring 43.5" x 43.5" it has a sleeve and is ready to hang.

The title of this incredible quilt is Autumn's Whisper. Designed and quilted by Nell Mays of the African American Quilt Guild of Oakland. It measures 24" x 24.5" and is made from upholstrey fabric samples. It is a great example of quilting with interesting and unusal fabrics.

This picturesque quilt by Tall Girl artist Carol Larson is called: Harborview: Mazatlan. Machine quilted in 2008 and measuring 17" x 25.5". It has a label and sleeve for hanging. Notice in the bottom left corner where the artist has embroidered her name.

This quilt titled: El Muerta Danza which translates to The Dead Dance is a fun and wonderful art quilt by Carol Larson. It has 5 small charms along the right side relating to the Day of The Dead celebration. Measuring 23" x 29" it has a sleeve and is ready to hang.

This Ghana basket has 80 plus vintage Grandmother's Flower Garden blocks and 12 17" vintage Windmill blocks. The donor thinks the Windmills may date from the 1880's and the Grandmother's Flowers circa the 1920's.

IF you LOVE vintage fabrics then this basket is for you.  This basket is filled with vintage blocks from the 1930's, 40's, and 50's.  There is feedsack, there is mourning and there is gingham just to name a few.  There are a variety of sizes and blocks, some 9 patch, some strip and more.

This stunning vintage quilt was hand piece & quilted by the donor's great-grandmother, Alice Smalley. Titled: GreatGrandmother's Flower Garden it measures 70" x 90" apprx. For a vintage quilt it is in excellent condition with just minor places of discoloration and no discernable wear. The fabric is all vintage and still retains it's original color.

This signed print is by the famous artist Jack R Meyer, 1930-1994. His lithographs are famous for their rural and southern themes and he has had exhibits around the country. Meyers once said, "The real art of living, I believe, is blending equally the past, present, and concern for the future. Real art should reflect principle." You can find his work for sale anywhere from ebay to large expensive auction houses. This is your chance to own a numbered, signed work. This basket is full of vintage feedsack fabric. These are not reproductions but the real thing. There are eight pieces. A few are still in sack form.

Sunflowers for Cecil is an Award Winning memorial quilt to the famous Southwest African lion Cecil who was killed in 2015. The artists state: "This quilt uses the shifting perspective technique & machine embroidery to depict the passing of Cecil". Designed by Sally Lewis of Paducah, KY, and quilted by Susan Mock of White Bluff, TN.

From an exhibit in 2016 this is your last chance to own a quilt from the Caohagan exhibit. Caohagan is a tropical island in the Republic of the Philippines. The island covers approximately 50,000 square meters. The population is only about 500. More than 120 people in Caohagan make quilts and the work of these extraordinary quilters ultimately funds food, education, housing, and other necessities. Each quilt depicts island life or an aspect of island life. And Each quilt is hand quilted. This one is 34" x 46" with a sleeve to hang. Don't pass up this chance to own a Caohagan quilt.

This lovely silk vintage quilt is title Grandmother's Variation. It is all vintage material and hand pieced and hand quilted. The pattern is Grandmother's Flower Garden with a little variation, hence the title. There is some damage but it is very minor. Overall this quilt is in very good condition for it's age. It measures 72" x 80" apprx.

This lovely, vintage quilt is an excellent example of Grandmother's Flower Garden. The quilt was created ca 1930-1950. It is hand pieced and hand quilted. There is some age staining but it is minimal. Overall this quilt is in good condition. It measures 84" x 92".

This lovely quilt titled: Dogwood Picnic was designed and machine pieced by Bettina Havig and machine quilted by Irene Reising. The dogwood is a familiar symbol of Paducah because of the many beautiful dogwood trees in and around the city. This quilt measures 51.5" x 51." and has a sleeve so it is ready to hang.

A lovely quilt made from wonderful batik fabrics titled: Batik Fantascies. This quilt mesaures 69" x 53" and was machine pieced and quilted by Barbara Hutton.

This quilt titled: This Side Up, was machine quilted by Judith P Putnam. This lovely black and white and orange modern quilt was juried and exhibited at the 2015 AQS show in Chattanooga. It measures 49.5" x 62" and has a label and a sleeve for hanging.
