Artist's Statement: This old skeleton of a tree reminds me of a late-stage Alzheimer's patient. But if only they could talk! You would hear wonderful stories of a life filled with love, laughter, family and friends.

Dedication: In loving memory of my late mother; Miriam Michel Schillig. She had a wonderful life and family, but Alzheimer’s stripped it away from her.
