Lloyd Cooper, CAI, BAS, PRI

Founder & Lead Auctioneer

Lloyd is Benefit Bidding’s lead auctioneer. After his graduation from Missouri Auction School in 1990, he founded Lloyd Cooper Auctioneers. He is an active member of the Texas Auctioneers Association (TAA), National Auctioneers Association (NAA), graduate of the Professional Ringman Institute, graduate of the NAA Benefit Auctioneer Specialist (BAS) program and holds the CAI designation from the NAA. Lloyd previously served on the Board of Directors of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation – Northeast Texas Chapter. He served in the U.S. Navy and attended Washburn University. In his free time, Lloyd is an amateur vintner and owns a private vineyard. He has dabbled as a brewmeister and received a national award for his American Pale Ale. Lloyd enjoys golfing and sporting clays, skeet, and trap.

Mary Cooper, BAS, PRI

Mary Cooper, BAS, PRI

President of consulting division & Licensed Auctioneer

Mary is president of Benefit Bidding’s fundraising consulting division. She is passionate about empowering savvy non-profit organizations with creative ideas designed to accomplish their fund-raising mission. Mary is a member of the National Auctioneers Association (NAA), and a graduate of the NAA Benefit Auctioneer Specialist (BAS) program, the Bootcamp for Benefit Auctioneers, and the Fundraising Auction Academy. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Business Administration from the University of Kansas. In her leisure time, Mary enjoys reading and spending time with her family.

Kurt Wilbur

VP Sales & Marketing & Auctioneer

Kurt Wilbur has 25 plus years in Sales and Marketing. He started as a department manager in a retail music, and worked his way up, becoming a very successful regional manager for the top musical accessory company in the USA. During his tenure, Kurt developed many effective marketing campaigns for the companies for which he worked. As a regional sales manager, he has travelled most of the United States, from California to Florida, visiting hundreds of retailers helping them develop sales strategies to achieve their goals.

He is an avid musician, guitar player, singer/songwriter, and owns 2 United States patents for golf clubs he has invented. A recent graduate of the Texas Auction Academy, Kurt is eager to use his talents at Benefit Bidding for charities and non-profit fundraising.

Sales Team Member & Auctioneer

Andy has been with Benefit Bidding Since 2010. Andy is a graduate of the Texas Auction Academy and is a licensed auctioneer in Kentucky. Andy heads up our eastern sales and marketing team. Andy enjoys fishing and hunting and loves traveling the country selling online and mobile bidding auctions.

Kim Sheldon is both wonderful and amazing. She wrote the Benefit Bidding Technology User Manual and is our team check in/out lead at events. Since October 2013, she has been a Benefit Bidding team member. Her favorite superhero is Elastigirl, a.k.a. Mrs. Incredible, because she can stretch and bend to new roles, plus, she likes her tall boots. Kim is able to organize just about anything from volumes of documents to large social events. Lori joined the Benefit Bidding Team in 2014. She started out as the face of the company at the entrance of auction events. Greeting people, talking to them about the event and wishing them a great night of fun. In September of 2016 she had an opportunity to stand in as a ringman and decided this was the role where she could help the company most and have so much fun with the people attending the event. Lori is a PRI graduate. Fun facts about
Lori – Favorite superhero? Batman – fiercely passionate, unwavering in morals, superhuman persistence for missions on life and a lot of love for people in life and dedicated to their protection. What super power would you like to have? Fly, fly, fly! Favorite time of day? Morning. Special abilities? Comedian. Hobby? Toy Collector. I love my family, friends and kids I work with in my life.

Rene’ joined the Benefit Bidding Team in 2014. She started out with Benefit Bidding as an event night team member for live auction events providing bidder assistance with check-in and check-out. More recently Rene’ has provided assistance with computer set-up, networking and printer activation. In September of 2016 she had an opportunity to stand in as a ringman and decided this was a role where she could help the company and have so much fun with the people attending the event. Rene’ is a PRI graduate. Fun facts about Rene’ – Favorite superhero? Buzz Lightyear – Space ranger always willing to help others and protects the galaxy from the threat of invasion from infinity and beyond. What super power would you like to have? Strength! Favorite time of day? Morning. Special abilities? Mechanical aptitude to see and understand how things work. I love my family and friends and enjoy learning new things each and every day.

Leo has been with the Benefit Bidding Team since January 2014. He sees his special talent as organizing chaos. Fun facts about Leo– Favorite superhero? SPIDERMAN – cause I am intelligent, witty, a bit geeky and have great power and responsibility (when my wife let’s me). What super power would you like to have? The ability to stop time because it is a priceless commodity which we lose everyday. Favorite time of day? (Miller Time), and it happens 24 hours a day, around the world. Hobby? When time permits, wood working and various crafts. Leo said, “I have been retired from the corporate world for 3+ years and have enjoyed every minute and I love working non-profit fundraising events! It’s the best career move I ever made. This has allowed my wife, Debbie, and I to spend time with our grandchildren – which is very rewarding.Life is GOOD !!

Debbie has been with Benefit Bidding Since 2013. Debbie is a bidder assistant she helps with check-in and during the silent mobile auction helps to answer questions or assistance on mobile phones. Her favorite superhero would be Spider-Man, “He fights for the good of humanity, ‘With great power there must also come great responsibility.’ ” “If I had a super power it would be to heal, because I could help ease the pain of people suffering from serious illnesses; cancer, Alzheimer’s and other dreaded diseases would all be history.” Debbie’s favorite time of the day is meal time, this is the time her family gathers to share their day with each other. As a member of PEO, Debbie can encouraging women’s education and help support an all women’s college in Nevada, MO. Sewing quilts for Texas Oncology patients to use while receiving treatments is another way Debbie gives. In her free time you might find her reading or doing genealogy research. Note, her picture was taken in Florida at her family reunion.

She graduated from Collin College and has a background working in educational environments. Emily possesses strong organizational skills, a friendly demeanor and desire to help others. She adores animals and loves spending time with her dog and cat..

Tyler has been with the Benefit Bidding Team for over six years. He is the guy who arrives to the venue early and sets up our computer network, computers and printers. You will also find him working check-in and check-out at events. Fun facts about Tyler– Favorite superhero?MegaMind – Funny, super intelligent, and good core. What super power would you like to have? Super Intelligence, knowledge is power. Favorite time of day? Nap time. Special abilities? Can remember very specific and minute details about meaningless events. Hobby? Aviation (I am a licensed pilot), games, and spending time with my wife and extended family.

Nicole joined the Benefit Bidding team in May of 2015. She is a member of our event check-in/check-out team and provides bidder assistance at fundraising auctions. Her favorite superhero is “Captain America”, because he is a great symbol for our Country! If Nicole had a super power, it would be the ability to fly because she hates traffic. Her favorite time of day is the morning. She loves the feeling of a new day and a fresh start and with being a mother to small children it’s always best to get up before the kids. As for special hobbies Nicole attends a fitness bootcamp called Camp Gladiator. It has quickly turned into her new hobby!! Nicole loves being in the Benefit Bidding team and helping non-profits raise much needed funds.

Callie joined the Benefit Bidding team in December of 2014. Our daughter Emily found her in a rescue shelter in Longview Texas. She is currently the most active member of our team. During the holidays she enjoyed tree climbing. Now she is into everything!!!
